All our courses start in mid-September, so don't leave it too late to apply!
Luther King House theological college is an interdenominational Christian college, based in the heart of Manchester, with a diverse student population. We offer part-time & full-time Christian theology and religious studies degrees, which build on your church experience and are designed to support you in your lay or ordained ministry as you deepen your understanding of faith, worship, ministry and mission. We welcome students of all denominations with a mature outlook on life, and we have an excellent track record of working with people joining us from access courses or with experiential learning. We are also experienced in supporting students with dyslexia. Our high ratio of tutors to students means we are able to offer more personal support than may be available in larger institutions. We have a Tier 4 licence for international students, and international students are charged the same fees as home students. Because of the contextual and experiential nature of our courses, you need a church-related context in which you can carry out church-based activities and reflect upon your ministry and practice in that context. For information about our undergraduate & postgraduate degree courses, see below.

- No minimal qualifications required - life experiences & ability to reflect taken into consideration in application
- Applications encouraged from students with a mature outlook on life and a desire to explore and reflect upon faith, ministry and mission
- Because of the requirements in certain modules to preach, lead Bible studies and carry out other church-related activities, you will need a church context in which you are able to carry out these course related activities with the approval of your church leadership.
- You apply for the Foundation Degree initially. Once you have successfully completed the Foundation Degree, you can choose to stay an extra year (2 years part-time) to complete the BA

Luther King House are pleased to announce that we now have a new MA strand for those who are currently, or are interested in becoming, theological educators, and for those who wish to develop an understanding of the principles of theological education and acquire skills in enabling others to learn and reflect. The courses on "Learners and Learning in Christian Adult Education" and "Teachers and Teaching in Christian Adult Education" will run on Mondays, and can be taken as part of the MA programme or as standalone modules for personal interest.
