Revd Dr Kathy White is Tutor in Biblical Studies (Hebrew/Old Testament) at Northern College. A Warringtonian by birth, she lived and worked mostly in London and then in West Sussex before recently returning 'home' to the North West to take up her present post. She was ordained in 2001 to the United Reformed Church pastorate of East Grinstead and North Sussex Area of Shared Mission. Before entering ordained ministry she worked as a graphic designer in the book publishing industry, and for 17 years as Head of Drama in a Croydon comprehensive school. She has also worked with the Urban Churches Support Group in Thames North and Southern Synods. Her special area of interest is the language of imagery and symbol in the Hebrew Scriptures. |
