is pleased to announce

that the Revd Dr Rosalind Selby,

Minister of Wanstead and Gants Hill United Reformed Churches,

has been appointed Principal

and will take up her post in August 2012

 

"Rosalind Selby will join Northern College as the new Principal in August 2012. By next summer Rosalind will have been in her pastorate at Wanstead and Gants Hill in NE London for five years where she has had a varied ministry, including leading the Wanstead church through a £1.3m building project.  In the past, she has taught part time on the West Midlands Ministerial Training Course at Queens College Birmingham, as well as at the Selly Oak Colleges and as a post-graduate student at Birmingham University.  Her PhD is in New Testament Hermeneutics but she also took the Northern College/Manchester MA in Contextual Theology.  She chaired the Joint Public Issues Team working party on Theology and Climate Change (Hope in God's Future) and her ongoing research interest lies in that area of biblical studies.  Rosalind has also worked in administrative and paralegal roles in family law.  She has three adult children. Her interests outside the church lie in theatre, film and reading."
