Jan Berry's New Appointments |

Northern College says goodbye to Jan Berry, Tutor in Practical Theology, and wishes her well in her two part-time appointments:
LKHET - responsibility for the MA programme, tutorial work for Luther King House Open College and research supervision
Director of the Centre for the study of Theology and Health at Holy Rood House in Thirsk
She started her new duties on 1st September 2009 |

Northern College Commissioning and Ordinations/Inductions |

Mark Tubby, Church Related Community Worker, was commissioned at Weoley Castle Community Church, Birmingham on 5th September 2009.
Mike Aspinall, Non-Stipendiary Ministry student, was ordained and inducted to Chapel Street and Hope (Salford West Ministry) in the North Western Synod of The United Reformed Church on 19th September 2009.
Congratulations to Debbie Brown, Stipendiary Ministry student, who has just been called to the East Wirral Pastorate in Mersey Synod. Her ordination and induction will take place on 31st October 2009. |

Northern College Commencement Service dates |

At the start of each academic year we hold a service to welcome new students and to say "goodbye" to the previous year's leaving students.
We held the service for the 2008/09 leavers on Saturday, 3rd October 2009. This was an enjoyable day for all. There is an attached photograph:

The next service for the 2010/11 academic year will take place on Saturday, 11th September 2010.
