Luther King House puts on a range of events during the year, many of which are open to the public:
- First Tuesdays - free theological seminars on the first Tuesday of the month during term-time
- Church Saturdays - practical workshops exploring different aspects of faith, discipleship & ministry in creative ways
- Whitley Lecture - a free, annual lecture exploring a prominent theological theme as part of our First Tuesday programme
- Lay Preachers' Conferences - an opportunity to explore creative ways of bringing worship alive
- Short Courses - exploring faith, discipleship & theology in ways which relate your learning to the real world
- Independent Learning - a chance to explore any area of faith, thology or church history of interest to you, at your own pace, with tutorial support and full use of our academic library.
We also have other learning and study opportunities:
- External library membership - we have an excellent academic library, with over 33,000 volumes, extended opening hours and opportunities for external library membership at very reasonable prices. Click on the link for more information.
- Academic degree programmes - we have a range of academic degree programmes, at undergraduate and postgraduate level, including:
- Foundation Degree in Mission and Ministry
- BA in Contextual Theology
- MA in Contextual Theology
- MPhil / PhD Research Degrees in Contextual Theology
